Military Road....

constructed in the early 18th century to enable Hanovarian troops to quell any potential riots in Scotland. These days it affords locals the quickest route to the river.
We woke to about 7.5cms of light, feathery snow lying and it has continued to throw some heavy showers all day. Between there have been some lovely sunny spells, ideal walking weather, also good for the ski areas and many were heading up there.
As you can see in the extra, not everything was pleased to see the snow!
