Solar power?

My blind aunt lives just above the snow line in Edinburgh. And it was obvious today. While there was some white stuff falling from the skies but not lying, up at her house the streeets and grass were white.

And the snow flakes were the large fluffy kind the size of 50p pieces or larger.

Some neigbours have fitted solar panels but I suspect they will be of little use today. We investigated having them fitted at home a couple of years ago but because of where've love we were advised that any proposal would be objected to by the conservation area. Our sunny roof faces onto the street so solar panels are likely to be deemed not to fit the environment!
