Snowing and Eleven Degrees . . . Let's Stay In!

Baby, it's cold outside!

It was around eight degrees F outside when I woke up on Caturday morning. The high for the day may have been somewhere around eleven in the afternoon when I took this picture. It was snowing; not much, but the wind was making much more of it than it was.

It was a fine day for old-fashioned apple pancakes, and for fried chicken and homemade french fries, and for cinnamon rolls. But it was not, actually, a fine day for going out. In fact, for once, we stayed in!
