A quick visit to Croig just along the road, from inside the car all looked warm and perfect, open the door and there was a biting wind. This was taken from near the little harbour looking over to Quinnish estate. What we don't see is the stretch of water - my favourite Loch - lying between us and the hillside. The geography of this area confuses me at times, from here at Croig to Quinnish estate must be 4 miles by road but as the crow flies it's just over there.
The extra is a tolerant heron that was just too far for a good shot, a red boat in the harbour and a greedy black bird I caught earlier with a beak full of food. Manners ehh.
