Snowdrops and fallen trees

One of our favourite walks at this time of year is along the riverbank which runs through very old woodland where there are masses of Snowdrops to be seen for probably half a mile. As it is popular with locals the path, at present,  is deep with liquid mud and puddles for nearly all of its length.
