The boxer

A portrait of Scarborough boxer Danny Price, taken while doing an interview for the paper. But my paper only uses colour photos, and I thought this was much stronger in mono.
This isn't posed, simply shot while he was talking, lit just by natural light in a coffee shop. I much prefer 'finding' natural light, to setting up studio lights.

Also pleased that my blip of May 8th this year caught the eye of Sir Alan Ayckbourn himself, and he and his wife asked if they could use it as a new 'official' portrait. Really quite chuffed! If you live in Seattle, this may have appeared in your city newspaper, where Sir A is going to direct one of his plays.
I'm free to take pics there too, Sir A...!
