York

I travelled up to York today ahead of a conference, and got there in time for a couple of hours wandering and exploring. Unfortunately the Jorvick centre was still closed after the floods, but it was lovely walking through the Shambles and seeing the Minster again. The blue skies and sunshine made for a lovely afternoon to myself. I stumbled across a really good veggie feast for dinner, and spent the rest of the evening happily watching crap tv in my hotel room.
