Isaac and I snuck away for an early Valentine's Day celebration on Thursday night. We stayed at the new McMenamin's Anderson School location and had one of the best date nights ever.  The hotel is built out of an old school and has multiple bars, restaurants, a theater and a pool on location.  They even turned the old Principal's office into a tiny little bar.  We loved the intimacy of every place we checked out, from the lagoon bar that overlooked the saltwater soaking pool to the movie theater where we watched Deadpool.  We shut the place down playing pool and shuffle board into the morning.  I absolutely loved the funky decor from the chandeliers to the unusual paintings and each room has it's own theme.  We stayed in Dr. Reuben Chase's room which apparently called for a heart to be painted on the headboard of our bed.  We've found a new favorite overnight getaway.
