Hillfort Hug

Today was the second birthday that I've spent on Old Oswestry Hillfort,  a very important Iron Age site. A large housing development is proposed for land near it (passed unanimously by the council) so locals and archaeologists walked up to "Hug the Hillfort". Info and pictures here. 

We formed the letters of the  campaign then at the top stood round the top "hugging" the fort. A drone took photos from above which will be used for publicity.

I was then treated to a birthday meal out which was a real treat!
