A life in boxes

The clearing of mum's house continues.  How can a beautiful life be discarded in this way?  Yes - I know it's not Mum's life we're discarding, but her possessions, the things she surrounded herself with, the gifts she'd received from us, the possessions that she chose to keep to help her along her path........it feels so wrong to box them up like this for disposal.
