Love a bit of Dereliction

This is my entry for Mono Monday Challenge though its only link to this weeks subject ,"love" is opaque. Like most photographers I love a bit of dereliction. Quite what sparks this love affair with the old and crumbling I'm not sure but it does seem to be a universal pre-occupation for most photographers. I suppose it's something to do the range of tonal variation and texture in dilapidated buildings but it also something to do with the atmosphere that these images encapsulate. I've gone for the double whammy today by using an infra-red capture.
