The Torch comes to Andover....

Well I promised you a Torch blip, so here it is! It isn't brilliant as I had to hold my camera way up above my head to see over the tall people who seem to gravitate towards the front, thereby blocking the view for everyone else - Why do they do it???!!!

I love the i-phone on the left in the picture as it says a lot about the world we live in and how we capture it to remember!

It was also a pleasant surprise to see my old Quartermaster (QM) from my days in 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery (3RHA) directing the proceedings (wearing blue beret and yellow vest). Even the sun came out to say hello (it is cloudy and raining again now though!)

The one thing I will say is that it was all over very quickly!
