The Soggy Woods

Shall we do the freezing seafront or the soggy woods? I asked Gill. The soggy woods, says she. But it will be very soggy, says I. That's ok, says she, we'll be fine. Well all was going well until we encountered the extreme sogginess that is the Highwoods in Bexhill at the moment. What's happened to the path?? Says Gill, and as if by magic this nice chap whittles one up for us. Here's to you sir!!
Lesson learned today? Appropriate footwear to be worn when walking in the soggy woods!
