Time for bed

At Sugnall Walled Garden here where I've been this afternoon for 'Afternoon Tea' with two friends.   It was an early Birthday present for me (tomorrow) and a belated one for Chris (yesterday), courtesy of our good friend Susan. 

It has been a beautiful day but still very parky and the family of Indian Runner Ducks were keen to go into their night quarters when the temperature dipped considerably as the sun was quickly disappearing - going to be a cold one tonight.. 

'Afternoon Tea' was delicious and took ages, so much to talk about and catch up on since I've been incarcerated at work for the past 3 months or so.

Looking forward to going back to Sugnall later on when all the fruit trees will be flowering, and then there's the kitchen garden, the flower garden and the lavender to look forward to , not forgetting the craft and Farmers' Markets every second Sunday in each month.
