Little breezes

The finest of dustings of the white stuff this morning but it had all gone really by the time we walked around to the shops for a newspaper. It has been a day of being very wrapped up for every excursion, including a walk from Fiskerton Fen along by the river. There was very little else out and about - five swans, two people and three other dogs being the sum total of what we saw. Bailey wasn't overly keen about walking all the way and decided to have a bit of a lie in the sun on a couple of occasions. We, on the other hand, would have disputed Tennyson's version of 'little breezes dusk and shiver'. It was more like icy winds and being nithered. Blue skies virtually all day make a nice half term change, however.
