A little bit of sunshine

Today was a fairly sunny day for a change but it was cold, especially this evening. 

This is a make do photograph. I was hoping to have a  photograph of a bittern but it wasn't to be. Two bitterns have been seen at the reserve and a few bird watchers, including myself,  sat around at dusk waiting for them to appear but we didn't have any luck. I had my thermal undies on but my hands froze.
