Mono Monday - Love

I had an unexpected day out in Ely today to meet up with G.  We had time to have lunch, take some photos round Ely Cathedral and do the tour. The photo is of the main door to the Cathedral. I'd noticed that the latch handle looked like an upside down heart, so I turned it up and had to take quite a few photos as so many people kept coming out the door!!!

I'm not religious, but I do love the architecture in religious buildings.  The light in Ely Cathedral is amazing, we're definitely going back in the Summer when the sun is more consistent and stronger and we'll also take our tripods next time.

So it was a day out at:
- a loved building
- where so many people express their love for their religion
- doing my photography which I love
- with a great friend who I love

The Extras are of the amazing views down the Nave and of the Octagon. A wonderful day, even more appreciated for being unexpected.
