BlipaEwan 95...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

It’s all change at Beavers this month.  Well it’s changed in that he’s no longer a Beaver.  For the last couple of weeks he’s been going to both Beavers and staying on for Cubs on a tuesday night.  This is part of his transition to cubs now that he is 8 years old.  This all culminated in his umping the metaphorical river along with his new sixer to join the cubs proper.

Speaking of scouting.  He also achieved his Chief Scouts Bronze award just before he left Beavers.  Not sure what he did to earn it but I did help him with knots over a couple of nights.
 
There’s also been a lot of skipping in the house.  They have a sponsored skip-a-thon at school so there’s been a bit of practicing each night.  He’s rather good at it and can skip really fast and evenly.
