The Boys

I had 3 or 4 great options today and after much hemming and hawing, I decided to go with this one for several reasons...
1.  I took it on a pond just outside the zoo entrance where a nice selection of wintering water birds were hanging out
2.  It requires no editing, not even a crop, and...
3.  I really like ring-necked Ducks.

I am putting two of my other favorites from today in Extra - a coyote and a flamingo, with some edits.

We spent about 4 hours at the zoo and had a wonderful time walking and talking.  It's a well done zoo and we all agreed we'd put it in the "visit again" list.

Lunch and a decadent visit to Coldstonr Cremery for ice cream then back to RV/hotel for showers, naps, blipping.  We'll do something simple and light for dinner and early to bed.

We were awakened in the middle of the night by very loud people in the room next to ours.  After several phone calls to the desk and several more hours of relentless noise, they finally wore themselves out and we were able to get a few more hours of sleep.  We had the hotel move us to a new room today - not going to put up with more noise tonight!
