Great Blue Heron

I seem to be fixated on birds lately.  Bill and I went to the Refuge and I do like this heron.  He was in an area by the stream where I've actually never seen a heron, so the setting was kind of pretty.  I just changed the image to this one, with his back to the camera. The other one seemed a smidg out of focus. As per the usual, you are welcome to see my other photos on Flickr.  I almost went with the colorful Mallard duck, but went with this instead.
