Grey Wagtail
The birds were very busy in the garden today. So hard to choose which to use as my blip subject. In the end I went with the wagtail as the main and the Magpie and Mr and Mrs Robin as extras. The Grey Wagtail won because I have never seen one so clearly before. He was flying across the garden and did a swoop down onto the roof of next door's shed to explore the puddle there ( which seems to attract all of the birds, even though T puts out a water dish for them to splash in ). The yellow on his tail, chest and under the wings was such a brilliant colour as he was flying. After landing he strutted around with his tail bobbing up and down. It is obvious where the name comes from.
