Monarch

Another glorious day in Madeira.

Starting with a delightful swim as the sun rose, continuing with the coffee morning when we catch up with old friends and meet some new ones, and then a useful wander into town in the sunshine.

My holiday really goes up a gear when I see my first Monarch butterfly. This one posed, in the Parque de Santa Catarina.

I met up with Picture Poems and her husband for a lovely leisurely lunch - and then the bus home.

Pretty perfect really.
