Lara 2016

I'm so glad I took this photo of Lara first thing this morning, because the weather turned and became horribly wet and miserable shortly after.

As we know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and to me Lara, despite her missing eye, her old, spindly legs and her greying muzzle, is beautiful, inside and out.

This afternoon I watched a Channel 4 documentary I'd missed when I was on holiday - The Mad World of Donald Trump. Scary! Even scarier to see what a huge following he has in the run-up to the US presidential elections...
