frozen bubbles

We had a good frost this morning with blue sky and bright sunshine. Nelly and Sid loved their walk on the crunchy frosted grass. This ice slice was on top of the birds' water bowl. Hundreds of tiny air bubbles trapped in it like tiny planets. Beautiful patterns and reflected colours too.
