Windsurfing Lesson

Here's Richard Greenwood, patiently being shown how to windsurf for the first time. He's about to climb on a board and have a go for himself and then repeatedly, though not too often, fall in the water.

The instruction was top notch and Richard was soon cruising the waves like a pro (well, like a good quality beginner). He needs a bit of work on his posture. But hey, don't we all...

The session took place at Rossendale Valley Sailing Club - with a very friendly, welcoming group of people. I got to ride out in a motor boat so I could get good shots of Richard on the water.
