A long journey

Little F aged 3 and her brother, aged 5, arrived at the station with their Dad after the long train journey from Cheshire. Mum has had to work over half term so she was unable to come this time.
It was their first long rail journey, and they have had their backpacks ready for at least two weeks!!
F is crumbling Granny's meringue, just to get the feel of its texture! She preferred the blueberries which I served with it! Very tired, but very chatty indeed!
