School of Rock

Every year at James's school the Friends (PTA) organise a fundraising evening called School of Rock. Basically about 6 amateur bands play and the parents get the chance to have a great boogie and sing along, whilst drinking quite a lot! Some of the bands involve parents and one band is made up of teachers. The photo shows James's teacher from last year, who played the violin brilliantly.

This was the third year this event was run. It was brilliant fun and it made the most money an evening event has ever brought in - over £5,500! I think there were probably a lot of sore heads the next day!
