Show must go on

By chance, I am working with my friend on an exhibition of her work for the Merchant City Festival.

Today we met at the space to look at the layout of the work, talk lighting and measure up for the red carpet.

The excitement was dampened by the water, leaking from a pipe, travelling along the floor towards us as we entered the shop.

With exactly two weeks to go until the show opens, we adopted our 'the show must go on' attitude. The layout is done, decisions on lighting texture and carpet were made and buckets were purchased to catch some of the leak.
