Cupcake decorating

Visited sal and the girls this morning. Tobes and Eva enjoyed decorating cup cakes. Stu and David also popped in.

Back to the farm for lunch and needed to walk the dogs after. Nell lost three balls then ran off after a scent. I caught up with her as she doubled back and called her and she took one look at me and charged off in the opposite direction. She ran across the fields in the direction of the road. There's electric fence up for the sheep but she went straight through that and was poking her head through the hedge. I was terrified she was going to go through onto the very busy main road. She then went over the bank and out of sight and I really thought that was it as I could hear lorries going past on the road. But as I ran across the field she was thankfully heading away from the road and was then three fields away from me in the blink of an eye. In the end I got her back with Charley's help but I was pretty hysterical by that point as this had been going on for about 30 mins and I had not been able to get near her. Her recall is normally pretty good and I could see her thinking about coming back to me a couple of times but then the draw of all the new scents on the farm was too much for her to resist.

This arvo we went to a tiny cinema in Oswestry with Jo, Stu and David to see Starwars - second time for all of us except Eva, who found the start a little scary but was soon distracted by a bag of popcorn and seemed to enjoy the rest of the film.

Then we went to Andrea and Craig's for dinner - homemade burger and chips. It was a struggle to drag them away from their cousins so has been very late to bed back at Grandmas. Eva and Eliza were playing so sweetly together.
