Symmetry

Sadly this isn't a native, but an introduced species native to Europe and North Africa.  The Lesser Hawkbit was no doubt brought over by the early settlers, and has become a noxious weed in some parts of the country.

I like it because it's a blob of bright colour and the symmetry of the flower head is nice.

Thank you all so much for the hearts, stars, and wonderful comments on my blue banded bee yesterday.  She's sitting pretty on the front page of popular, which is such a treat.
