Dinner with Pete

Tonight we attended a special Seafood tasting menu at one of our favourite restaurants in Perth - Heirloom. Part of the experience was that the menu was prepared, cooked and at times served by Pete Evans (famous TV chef here in Aus on My Kitchen Rules).

The food was incredible, as expected, but I was also very pleased to be sitting on such a friendly table of 5 other guest along with Jen and I. So we were just chatting away about everything and anything. A really lovely evening.

This picture is of Pete (one with the microphone) chatting with the fish supplier. Oddly from South Australia. Peculiar because WA has an amazing reputation for seafood!
