The Rotto Legend

Rottnest Island is a 20-40 min ferry trip across from Perth. The island got its name from the local habitants the Quakka - these rat like marsupials has poor vision and can often be seen all over the island... Bouncing in and out of the dense undergrowth.

This cheeky little fella has a weary expression... Almost as if saying "and what are you doing on my island?!"
