A river of sand

This leaf was stuck in a sand river,  loose sand that "flows" and changes when it rains really hard.  The sign said it may act like quicksand after a heavy rain when the water is still sitting just under the ground level. It rained on Sunday and Monday.    Of course, Gypsy just walks across before I can test it out!  But it was good. 

The patterns were very artistic and remind me of some of the patterns in the sandstone rock formations out west.
