Golden Starlings

By the time I got home from card class this afternoon the sun was low in the sky, giving the clouds a pinky golden tinge,  While I was searching the sky for a good cloud formation I could tweak a bit for Abstract Thursday, I saw these starlings on a tree.  As I zoomed in on them the sun had cast a golden glow on their feathers.  On a television aerial a bit further over was a 'golden' pigeon (extra).  I am afraid the pleasure of playing around with an image ( which I really enjoy doing ) will have to wait until next week.
