For Roger

My brother has been in hospital for an unexpected operation. This is for him. And John (who has been in lockdown in his 'home' for the Norovirous for the last week).

It's a carving I made after the incomparably more beautiful and accomplished carving by the brilliant Tilman Riemenschneider (c. 1460 – 7 1531).


The willow catkins are from John's niece in Germany. Speedy recovery to Rog. And hoping I'll get in to see John in the next couple of days.
