or a twisted pin cushion. Although it looks too nice to stick pins in!!
 
It is made from two squares of material which before sewing together the top piece is rotated by 45 degrees, so giving the zigzag edge. It was bought as a kit with all the necessary pieces on my trip to the Harrogate Stitching show last year.
 
When I came to finish it off and add the shell buttons to draw in the centre, I found that one was cracked. I rang the company and within 48hrs a pair of button has arrived in the post. Good service :0)
 
Busy day. U3A meeting this morning, gym session, then took the girls home this evening. P & R have enjoyed their trip away and the girls were so pleased to see them back. We collected fish and chips on the way home for supper…..a tasty treat!!!
