Langdales

A familiar enough picture. This is a painting done by my brother in law (who actually lives in Australia!) and given to us for my 80th birthday. I think he must have done it from a photograph but I am not sure. It is done in acrylics. We never knew he had this skill until he retired and began painting!

To day it is extremely windy and not at all conducive to outdoor photography. It amazes me how the birds manage to cling on to the feeders.
