Glass House Sunset

We arrived in Caloundra late this afternoon.  We've headed for home and it was so tough saying goodbye to CCN's mum Nettie.  If only we could jump into a Tardis and transport ourselves to Bundaberg in an instant.  Sadly that's just not possible.

We decided to treat ourselves and booked into one of the hotels for the night.  It's been a pretty energetic three weeks for us and it's nice every now and then to have a bit of a spoil.  We found ourselves on the tenth floor of the Hotel and as we stepped out of the lift we were confronted with the most spectacular view of the Glass House Mountains to the west of the town.

I can say with hand on heart that this image is SOC - Straight out of Camera.  I kept racing out every five minutes to see if the scene had changed and it was extraordinary how many changes transpired over a half hour period.  This image was my pick of many.
