Posh street food
Today Giovanni, Helen and I spent the whole day trying to turn 300 submissions over 5 tracks into a coherent conference agenda. We've got something to work with, but only time will tell if it's good enough.
It went on so long I was late meeting Dan & Tim down at the Star & Garter. We headed off to Viet Food, specialising in Vietnamese street food (with Soho prices). Very nice it was too - lots of flavour, hardly any frying.
From there Tim introduced us to Gordon's, a port bar in the basements by the river by Charing Cross station. Not only port, but huge slabs of cheese. Dan staggered off to Mill Hill, leaving us to finish a bottle of wine we had unwisely purchased.
