Twisted

I am posting earlier today because I am going to be busy later on and the weather is miserable outside.  I have mentioned before that I like photographing flowers as they wither, the shapes become twisted and sometimes the colours are more interesting as well, so this is another example.  It did make me think a bit about how we value people who don't conform to certain standards of beauty as presented by the media, whether that's because of age, disability or race for example.  Social media can help promote campaigns against this, but it can also cause a huge amount of damage if it is not used carefully.
