Reunion Day

It was such a beautiful morning that we got up earlyish and went for a walk around a nearby wood. The sunlight really made these trees glow.
I needed to be back in time for our school reunion lunch. There are a group of us who have met fairly regularly over the last few years, and it's so lovely to see them all again. We just carry on conversations that we almost finished the last time we met, which is nice. Several of them have had pretty serious health issues in the last year, and it's a big reality check to us all. Two of them had to bring their husbands with them, as they have mobility problems too and are unable to drive or get to the loo without assistance. Suddenly my legs don't seem to hurt as much.
