Last day with Alfie

Alfie, the bearded collie, has gone home today.  Before he left we went for a last walk on the beach together and I tried to teach him how to rock climb.  Alfie is a bit stupid at times?!  Rock climbing is easy and when you stand on top of rocks you can survey the whole beach and observe what is going on.

Alfie wouldn’t even attempt to go rock climbing.  He just stood and barked at me, as though rock climbing were the most stupid game in the world.  Silly beardie!!!

Ann says it’s been really nice to have Sue (her sister) & Emma (her niece) here for a few days.  Although Ann is slowly getting better, she is still not 100% and is nowhere near her normal self?!!  Whatever her normal self may be?!! Just how long does it take to get over flu (or whatever it is that she’s got)?  Ann has never been ill in the whole of the time that she’s had me and she doesn’t think she’s getting better quick enough.  Every little task exhausts her and she’s having more snooze time than me??!!

Sue & Emma have helped with the dog walks and made sure Ann eats.  Normally Ann & Sue would also have drunk gallons of Prosecco, but Ann’s been too ill to do that.  Though she did manage to force down a couple of glasses just to be polite?!!

Anyway today all Ann has eaten is a tangerine.  Vitamin C and all that.  There’s just no incentive to eat alone.  But she has some M&S chicken, mushroom & rice soup that Sue bought her the other day, so will have that for dinner and we’ll both slob in front of the TV and watch soaps tonight.

And tomorrow Ann doesn’t have to work; so she has two whole days to get into tiptop condition because do you know what is happening on Monday?.......................

……………..We are meeting 'HildaRose' & her hubby.  Yay!  I love meeting Blippers.  ‘HildaRose’ is coming here on holiday so I am going to show her one of my favourite walks and then the humans are going to eat & drink.  Ann says that ‘HildaRose’ is the ‘Queen of Blipmeets’; she’s always Blipping blipmeets??  So not only have I got to be on my bestest behaviour on Monday………………  I’ve got to be on my bestest behaviour and then double it……………….. so that ‘HildaRose’ meets a ‘perfect pooch’.

Apparently, if I do naughty things on Monday, a lot of Blippers will find out that I am not a ‘perfect pooch’. 

………………No pressure then??!!!!
