Frosty Start

Heading out of the door on my way to work this morning I noticed a little spot of blue amongst the frosty green folliage in my front garden.  On closer inspection, this turned out to be some Grape Hyacinth braving the cold.

I make a quick decision that de-icing the car and work could wait (!), and grabbed the camera, macro lens and tripod.  This one is the result of a focus stack of 7 shots, blended in Photoshot CC and and finished off in Lightroom.
