Free As A Bird

It's Mrs BB day off and she wanted to go walking. We had planned to start a walk at Ogmore Castle (I posted a back blip of it from April 2013 earlier today) but on getting there the stepping stones across the river were covered, so we headed along the coast to Monknash.

After following an ancient footpath with stone stiles for a mile we ended up at Monknash Beach and walked to the top of the cliff where I took the blip photo looking out across the Bristol Channel.

The sun looks lovely on the sea and that bird just looks so free, and the worn fence sort of adds to the scene as well.

By the time we got back to the car we were plastered in mud from the boggy fields. It was non stop moaning from Mrs BB that she was cold and I was stopping too much to take photo's.

We're off out tonight for a bar meal at a local pub in the next village with some friends. A few glasses of wine and she'll cheer up!
