Cold and Frosty

Our last day started with bright sunshine, cold and frosty and we set off early around the Larie Lee Trail before the forecast rain. The bright sun soon warmed things up as we explored the Slad valley pausing to read the words of Laurie Lee on the way round (see extra). The walk certainly has its ups and downs and in the muddy and slippery conditions had a few amusing and challenging moments.
