Thank you

A little while ago my neighbor came to me to ask for a favour.
She owns a florist & there was a street festival thing going on in Holmfirth & she was participating.

She wanted to decorate her stall with the bunting that I made for the Jubilee & came round to ask if she might borrow it.
It took me by surprise that someone might want to lend it so i was more than pleased to hand over the miles & miles of fabric.

She came this evening to return it, explaining that lots of people had commented on it & asked her where it was from. It was so sweet of her to say that her talented neighbor had made it.

As a thank you, her arms also came laden with the cutest little bouquet of sunflowers & lillies wrapped in brown paper & twine.

It was a lovely unexpected surprise!
