A real white elephant?

The church at the west end of Princes Street, St John's, has a board on its east end that has a painting. It is there for 2 weeks before it is removed. This was completed today and is a comment on the UK nuclear deterrent and its possible renewal. This was planned as there was to be a vote in the parliament in London. Europe has since intervened and the vote will be after the EU referendum. It's pretty powerful stuff and a credit to the church. Not sure how it fits with the conservative Edinburgh population though; I'm in agreement.
