Jasper

Meet Jasper. He is 15 months old and on the verge of walking. He can wander around next to chairs, sofas, coffee tables and curtains one handed and is just about ready to take off into the wide open spaces ... absolutely no hands at all.

Of late he has begun to assemble his own language. He points intensely at things, looks back at his entourage and goes "Ungh". Then at table he can be coaxed by his siblings into demonstrations of triumph. Hands fly into the air accompanied by a loud "Ooooo!"

Jasper being the youngest of three has learned that virtually ANYTHING can be had for the asking ..... if one can only muster sufficient charm! Oh dear. What have we done?
