Dredging
I was lucky enough to spot this dredger deepening the channel in Wynnum Harbour today. It is about time someone did a bit of work to it. The water is quite shallow in places and a bit dangerous at low tide.
On the left of the rock wall the water was black and smelly where it had been dredged and on the other side it was clear. Quite a contrast. I might have to throw a few crab pots out there soon.
Apart from my brief drive down to the watefront I haven't done much today. It is energy sappingly hot and humid again. There isn't a breath of wind which makes me think I should be out on my boat. Unfortunately I have to go to work this afternoon.
