Rain, Rain and more Rain

It is 'orrible out there. The Environment Agency were right.

Cancelled a weekend to the lakes, so we are bunkered at home. Lots to do as it turns out. It would have been sad to have travelled to Cumbria only to spend most of our time indoors. 

I spent 10 minutes taking pictures of raindrops on the window. This is a vase carved from a Yew log. I love the textures. When we opened our blinds this morning a female sparrowhawk was sitting atop our hedge (out of focus behind this vase) keeping a beady yellow eye and black pupil on every movement around her. She stayed for half an hour - a superb bird.
